We're so excited to introduce to you a new(er) member of our team, Frank!
Frank Romanazzi joined the Cedar Valley SportsPlex in November 2020. He provides strength, speed, and conditioning programs to develop a firm strength and movement foundation that can be continually built on to maximize human movement potential while lowering the risk of injury.
Frank came to the SportsPlex from UNI where he served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach from 2013 to 2020. During his time at UNI, Romanazzi worked with numerous teams, including football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, and women’s swimming and diving.
He is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialists (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, USAW Level 2 Senior Coach from USA Weightlifting, USATF Level 1 Coach from USA Track & Field as well as CPR/AED certified.
Frank also has professional experience in the NFL, NBA, and MLB🏈⚾️🏀 We're very excited to bring Franks expertise to the SportsPlex - a lot of new and exciting things are coming in 2021!

The registration deadline for youth basketball is TOMORROW❗🏀
These programs are designed to teach basic fundaments and help players have a better understanding of the basic flow of the game. All programs will meet Saturday mornings between 9:00am and 12:00pm at the Sports-Plex. Practice and game times may change from week to week. Each meeting will last 50 minutes and all programs will be coed.

Effective 11/11/20 Covid 19 Safety Protocol: Masks MUST be worn when not actively participating in physical activity. It is now required that masks should be worn when entering and exiting the building, as well as in common areas.
