Youth Athletics

Youth sports are a great way for kids to build self-esteem, interact with peers, and develop talents. By participating in recreational activities children also get to learn about teamwork and good sportsmanship.

Here at the Cedar Valley SportsPlex, we offer a wide variety of sports activities for the kids in our community. Discover our current season programming below!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

The City of Waterloo and the Cedar Valley Sportsplex offers a wide variety of youth sports activities. With the number of participants in each sport rising, it becomes difficult to find coaches for each team. In order to do so, it is often necessary to recruit parents of participants or other individuals in the community to coach. Our goal is to have volunteers who have significant experience in playing or coaching a particular sport, but that is not always possible with limited numbers.
