Mayor’s More Than Basketball Camp


The camp is possible due to a partnership between the Office of Mayor Quentin Hart, the Young Family Foundation, the Cedar Valley SportsPlex, Drive Basketball, IMPACTT Foundation and Advantage Screenprint.

This exciting new basketball camp is being offered to girls completing 2nd-5th grades & 6th-8th grades. This camp will be about much more than just basketball, each week we will have a guest speaker that will share positive and productive messages to the participants. The camp will be about skill development lead by El Sara Greer & DRIVE Basketball, with 3 on 3 games and some 5 on 5 scrimmages.

Meet El Sara Greer! Graduated from East High School in 2007. NJCAA Championship winner 2008 & 2009, MVP of the tournament 2009. Second team All American 2009 and holds the school record of 196 rebounds. Oregon State University 2010 & 2011. She played professionally in Romania and was the defensive player of the year and All Star game MVP 2011-2012 season. 2012-2013 Chec Republic lead the conference in rebounding and blocks winning defensive player of the year. 2013-2014 Mexico League Championship Winner.
